Removing Glitter Nail Polish

Removing glitter nail polish...problems of a polishaholic. I love the trend of glitter polish by hate removing it. Such a pain and takes forever. My hand starts cramping from scraping the glitter off my nails. I've heard of different ways to remove glitter polish but haven't tried any. I finally decided to try the foil method. 

You need nail polish remover, cotton pads, and foil. All you do is soak a cotton pad with the polish remover and put it on your nail. Then you secure the cotton pad with the foil. Just wrap a piece is foil around your whole finger. It should look like this. 

Then comes the hardest part. Wait 15 minutes. What do you do when you have foil all over your fingers? You can't play on your phone if it has a touch screen. I'm such a multitasker that this was torture for me. Anyway, after 15 minutes you peel off the foil and rub the cotton pad over your nail to get the residue off. I was pretty surprised with the results. 

Almost all of the glitter came off. There were a few pieces that didn't come off but I just went back over it with more polish remover. 

Overall I was pretty impressed with this method. I think I will use this method again especially if all my nails have glitter polish on them.
